Who We Are

Power of Compassion is a faith-driven non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C., dedicated to serving the homeless and those in need. Founded in 2011 by Randy and Evy Gunawan, what began as a simple act of kindness—cooking meals at home and sharing them in local parks—has grown into a movement of love, service, and hope.

We are a community of volunteers, believers, and compassionate individuals united by one mission: to be a reflection of God’s love through practical action. Whether it's sharing a warm meal, offering a word of encouragement, or praying with someone in crisis, we believe that every act of kindness matters.
